Engage and compare the views of the different commentaries in their understanding of the verses and/or text unit. Make sure you argue your own position in the understanding of the text. For this essay, use not only the curriculum literature but also supplementary literature and other commentaries. Use at least 3 different commentaries.
Use Gorman’s book as a framework for your exegetical study. Not all the texts selected require the use of all the steps, the student has to use his/her own judgment to decide which steps. Parameters of Evaluation:
